Here's a list of what you'll need to get started on a boot resole for your favorite pair of Zamberlan boots.
- Know your boot model. This will help you determine which outsole you will need and in which color. If you don't know your formal Zamberlan model name, simply browse our website and find the model that looks exactly like yours. Alternatively, email us at info@zamberlanusa.com and include a photo of your boots.
- Know your boot color. Some models of outsole come in multiple colors. Knowing your boot color will help you match the correct outsole SKU.
- Know your "actual" boot size. This will determine the size of the outsole you need to properly match to your boot. Please note, this is not your "regular size", but the "actual size" of your Zamberlan boot. Did your size tag wear off? Look at your original receipt or order confirmation email. If you do not know it, communicate the approximate size to the best of your ability to the Cobbler, who will work to match the correct size outsole to your boot.
- Identify your outsole. When you know which model, color, and size of boot you have, you can list it as well as the name and SKU of the corresponding outsole on your work order. See our article for available outsoles and applicable models for a quick guide on which outsole corresponds to which model - this information is also readily available on the product pages of our website at ZamberlanUSA.com. Also listed in the above article are the model numbers or SKUs for each outsole - write this number as well as your boot model, color, and size on your Cobbler work request form to help them accurately match your boot to the correct Zamberlan Vibram outsole.
Once you know the above information, go to Dave Page's website and click on the WORK REQUEST FORM button. Fill out the work request form with the information above, plus the other required data asked for on the form. Finally, follow Dave's instructions for sending your boots to his shop for resoling.
